About
SMINQ (See My In No Queue) is a doctor appointment booking platform designed to reduce waiting times at clinics. I worked across web and mobile systems, contributing to consumer-facing products and internal business tools, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and operational usability.
Key Contributions
- Developed the SMINQ consumer website from scratch using AngularJS, delivering core booking and discovery functionality for patients.
- Designed and built a business dashboard using Angular Material to support clinic operations, appointment scheduling, and queue management.
- Rewrote the consumer website in Vue.js, significantly improving performance and reducing page load times from ~20–30 seconds to ~8 seconds on low-bandwidth (3G) networks.
- Built and deployed a Progressive Web Application (PWA), improving accessibility and usability across devices and network conditions.
- Integrated online payment gateways including Razorpay and Paytm, enabling secure and seamless appointment payments.
- Created a proof of concept for a global-ready product using the NativeScript hybrid framework, exploring cross-platform mobile delivery.
- Supported the iOS application by identifying and fixing production issues, implementing in-app purchases using StoreKit, and contributing to App Store releases.
- Collaborated closely with product, operations, and clinic stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day usage and continuous improvement of business tools.
